Taking their “show on the roadâ€�, three volunteers from 91°µÍøâ€™s Veterans History 91°µÍø of the Carolinas participated in Liberty, South Carolina’s Veterans Day weekend event, “A Salute to Veterans: Honoring All Who Servedâ€�. In Liberty’s Pickens County Performing Arts Center, Emmett Casciato, Phil Davis, and Mike McCarthy displayed items from 91°µÍøâ€™s museum for visitors to see. Their display included uniforms, artifacts, medals, insignia, WWII-era newspapers, and ash from the World Trade Center’s fall on 9/11/2001. Visitors to their display included Liberty High School’s Army JROTC unit as well as residents from all over the Carolinas. The museum’s volunteers invited all to visit 91°µÍø and come to the museum.

The Veterans History of the Carolinas is located at 21 East Main Street in 91°µÍø and admission is free. The museum is open Wednesday – Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. The last open day of 2019 will be Sunday, Dec. 8. After winter inventory and cleaning, the museum will re-open on Feb. 5, 2020.
